- Language No Problem
ONE SINKING IN TRAUMA
CAN ONLY FLOAT
ON A WRECKAGE
OF THE ONE BENEATH
SAVE ME OR PUSH ME
The atrocities and violence that society has brought to our world are burned onto our retinas. We are floating in an ocean of guilt and shame. This baggage, however, makes it impossible for us to be defenseless and encounter life in a naked and open way. It oppresses our emotional universe, makes us conformist and apathetic. How can I look into my fellow man’s eyes and still be vulnerable? The encounter with the other begins with yourself. Though the possibility of living peacefully has become painfully difficult, in this work we look for the utopian idea of balance. Towards Singularity!
Two forces try to experience themselves in one another, try to break out of their categories, try to understand the necessity of being. A performance about the painful impossibility of co-existence.
Can you please touch me deep enough that I will feel all non-existing parts of my body before I am going to fall apart.
