Anders Ik Wel

The show about what shame does to you when you are different.

duration of the performance: 1 h

We rarely talk about it—shame. Most of the time we don’t even recognise it. ‘Anders ik wel’ (‘What’s the difference’) is an intimate and thought-provoking performance about the journey through shame and being othered. Storytelling, personal narratives, and spoken word come together to expose the quiet mechanisms of shame that settle into our lives. These layers are often invisible, but all the more powerful in how they shape us. Geoffrey weaves mythology with personal experiences to create an evening of discomfort, recognition, and connection. For those who have been; those who still are; and those who always will be, different.
