And then, life started again
Tim van den Bos de Lucas
Kenavo is a poetic and physical ode to loss and the elusive emotions that follow
when you lose someone dear. In a surreal world filled with imagery, sound, and mo- vement, two performers take you on a journey through grief, memory, and transfor- mation.
Together with a live musician on synthesizer, the performers explore a new, sensitive vocabulary within parkour. Interacting with the live music, they move through a twilight zone between circus, dance, and contemporary parkour. Kenavo (Breton for “see you again”) is a tribute to a lost friend. Their bodies speak where words fall short: capturing absence, falling, resilience, and farewell in pure physical expression. A visual and physical story, vulnerable, unsettling, and filled with gentle care.
Tim, 27, from Spain, began his practice in the world of parkour 12 years ago. Over time, his interests expanded to include various acrobatic disciplines such as tricking and acrodance. Through this journey, he found his passion in contemporary
circus, with a special interest in conceptual creations and performance arts. He continues to pursue his own movement research while working towards becoming a circus director and choreographer.
