Through a lens of humor and self-irony, Anniko Delvoije and the performers of Speels Collectief explore how to reclaim the stage. How does the gaze of the other shape your self-image? Is self-love the remedy? Can they shed the remnants of centuries-old mindsets and make them vanish forever into the magician’s top hat?

Biography
Anniko is a performer-maker who specializes in creating theater rooted in interviews and documentary material. Her work is deeply inspired by the Dramaturgy of Care methodology. Her signature style is both comedic and dramatic; visually, she delights in employing over-the-top show elements, driven by a strong passion for language and music.
Speels Collectief is a diverse, mixed-abled theatre company. We question the norm, seek wonder, and embrace the unusual.
