Amsterdam Fringe x NTF PRO 2026 brings together people from across the performing arts field and beyond, around one shared movement: from breaking barriers to building bridges.
When differences are growing and change is happening fast, spaces for meeting, imagination, and exchange become more important than ever.
This year, AFFxNTF PRO goes beyond disciplinary borders and brings together voices from the performing arts and other fields: from local initiatives to international networks, and from artistic practice to sectors like healthcare, technology, and public space.
The programme asks not only how we come together, but also what kinds of structures, relationships, and support systems are needed for the future of the field.
On 3 September 2026, the kick-off will take place for the first time at Meervaart, starting two days of conversations, workshops, a marketplace, one-on-one meetings, and collective action.
The future of the performing arts will not be shaped only by individual makers or institutions, but by the ways we work together, organise, and build new connections.
From emerging makers to experienced performers. From technicians to dramaturgs. From policymakers to students.
