Who are we?
Every year in September, for 11 days, the Amsterdam Fringe Festival presents a mix-mash of theatre, performance, and dance by new, unknown, and untamed talent at more than 25 locations across Amsterdam. We present a multidisciplinary program featuring over 55 artists from diverse backgrounds, origins, and futures. The festival is an ode to theatrical madness, the independent spirit, and a plea for artistic freedom. A big, heartfelt embrace of experimentation in the truest sense of the word: one whose outcome can still truly surprise you.
In the same way that we provide our theatre makers with an entry into the work field, we aim to create a similar opportunity by offering a learning position for aspiring production managers looking to get a foot in the door.
What you’ll do
You will work alongside our festival producer with both the preparation and production of the different events and elements that together make up our festival. Mainly, we will be working on planning, pre-production, and hands-on production work. Think about: How 2 Fringe workshops, our office move, our festival HUB, the Amsterdam Fringe Festival Opening Event, our x Meervaart focus event, the Award show & Afterparty. And a lot more!
Who are we looking for?
