Indie Nile
You probably think you have nothing in common with the sex workers you see in the red-light windows. But just like you, they protect their hearts from pain. Only their armor is sex.
‘How 2 Have a Happy Ending’ is a drag theater show about the fear of intimacy, where drag artist Indie Nile shares his life story as a sex worker through a tragicomedy version of the iconic film ‘Pretty Woman.’ You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll taste vulnerability, and you’ll leave the theater ready to find the love of your life.

We’re offering a preview of the show I LOVE ROMA. I LOVE ROMA is a dialogue between accordion and voice. Giovanni Brand and Sara Salvérius perform ten ballads of solace, reviving a forgotten history and giving a voice to those who were never seen as equals. It’s a tribute to those who were never comforted, with the hope of changing the future of the Roma community.

Indie Nile
Award-winning theater maker and popular YouTuber Indie Nile is the first (and only) ‘drag therapist.’ He combines the art form of drag and pop culture with raw vulnerability and real self-help tools. Born in Italy to a Palestinian father, Indie grew up in Dubai and later studied filmmaking in New York before settling in Amsterdam and launching a career as a drag performance artist.
Before drag, Indie was a celebrated documentary filmmaker tackling taboo subjects with hard-hitting stories. Post-drag, the hard-hitting stuff is still there, just now wrapped in a fabulous wig, catchy lipsyncs, and some stand-up comedy. When you’re at an Indie Nile show, you start healing your abandonment wounds, but you wouldn’t know it because you’re too busy jamming to your favorite pop songs.
