A man stands on a rotating platform. A costume blending African and Japanese aesthetics. A mirror net above his head. NiN draws you into a physical narrative on loneliness, masculinity, and losing control. Inspired by the Japanese phenomenon hikikomoriyoung people who withdraw from society for years – performer Gerinio Triebel explores what it means to disappear in a world that demands constant visibility. Through dance, spoken word, and music, a poetic struggle unfolds between internal doubt and external expectation. NiN is raw, rhythmic, and reflective – a call to see without judgment.

Biography

All Those Creators Collective (ATCC) is an interdisciplinary makers’ group led by Gerinio Triebel, focusing on urgent stories at the edges of identity, community, and control. Gerinio is a dancer, sociologist, and theatre maker, trained at the Amsterdam University of the Arts and the University of Amsterdam. His work moves between documentary and poetry, blending the personal and the political.

With NiN, he presents his first solo performance as both creator and performer. The production is developed in collaboration with We Are On The Move, an organization supporting emerging talent in Amsterdam Southeast. Gerinio previously worked as a journalist and program maker for AVROTROS Radar, AT5, and Red Pers, integrating investigative research with embodied performance. ATCC collaborates with sound designer Thomas Walschot and music producer Melandru to craft multi-layered narratives that resonate through body, language, and rhythm.
