Inside all of us lives an angsty teenager. This is the story of that teenager, told through darkness, voice-over, fantasy, sci-fi, the cosmos and the human superpower of imagination. Inspired by the eponymous graphic novel by Chris Ware.

In this psychedelic sci-fi radioplay we go on an interstellar quest for Solace, navigating the Inner Universe of a particularly soft little boy called Rusty Brown.

RUSTY BROWN was inspired by the eponymous graphic novel by Chris Ware and is an ode to the music of Alice Coltrane and Mary Lou Williams.

“What if we all got holes, black holes, right here in our bellies?”

- Rusty Brown, angsty teenager
