A solo dance theatre performance about dissociation, with live set
UIT|EEN|VAL will shine light on our mental state and anything that hides behind it. The things that we often don’t dare to share with one another, that which we downplay, cause yeah..; ‘I’m not crazy right?!’ Recognition is key! The performance is inspired on the autobiography of the maker. UIT|EEN|VAL makes dissociative behavior visual. It takes you to events where the body reflects something else than what is being felt and the other way around. Where body parts sometimes lead different lives and dissociate. Dancer and musician play in and against each other, with enough room left for a touch of humor;)

About the artist
Rosanna: “Dans en beweging is de fysieke uitlating van hoe ik het leven ervaar. Het is datgene weergegeven waar ik met het woord niet bij kom. De uitnodiging om het dialoog met de ander aan te kunnen gaan en open te breken.”
Yassine: “Ik houd me bezig met geluid. Ik vertaal in mijn studio wat ik zie en ervaar naar sound. Dit doe ik graag alleen maar ook met anderen.”
