This project is subjected to the weather the way we are subjected to it. It may change from time to time - like weather does.

Currently my main focus in practice is the ongoing series “Meteorological Exercises” – works where I try (in poetic / visual; not scientific way) to create meteorological environments using everyday human possibilities and objects. I’m interested in life, movements in still, everyday things, ephemeral materials, simple gestures and observations. How can I activate them to create “domestic weather”? I like to alive space where it is exhibited through smell, temperature, the structure of air … In a gallery space I try to prolong the life of my objects / actions, but most of their life is very ephemeral (a few minutes or seconds) and for this reason theater makes more sense for them to exist. This event could be very sensual and intimate, but also very spectacular.

Recently I learned that people who had been deaf from birth but gained their hearing later in life often say that they expected the sun to make noise. I had been thinking about that ever since and this show is the answer to this thought, which everyday makes more sense to me.
