Is it a lizard? A caiman? Or maybe just a dog? Or just a man… All we know is that it’s green, sensual, mad and hungry for change.

People in Cuba have been stuck in a harsh, endless cycle for a long time. They are crushed like bugs under the pressure of twisted communist ideas and wild, extreme right-wing beliefs.

Pulling Scales is based on the idea of change and transformation. It reflects on the process of awakening, both individual and collective. It’s a dance performance by Henry Rodríguez in collaboration with Elle. a.k.a. Lea Katrin (costume design) and L’DELTA a.k.a. Henry Rodríguez (music production) and is part of a series of works titled Physical Rootlessness.
