Biography
Yara Baas is a versatile performer, theater maker, and filmmaker. Last year, she debuted at the NFF with the absurdist mockumentary DE MAARTEN DOCU, about her all-consuming love for Maarten Heijmans. She also created a mockumentary series for VPRO, in which she searches for the ultimate feed (“Maybe I need some kind of political statement or something?””). Yara’s work is a fever dream of meta-irony, absurdism, and self-exploitation, balancing on the thin line between satire and sincerity.
Eva Gebbinck is an actress and theater maker. In 2025, she graduated from the drama program at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht with her performance ‘Hierna zal ik een berg zijn… een simpele kutberg.’ Eva creates work rooted in personal material and engages the audience in a humorous and provocative manner.
